Wartile to taktyczna gra bitewna tworzona właśnie przez Duńskie studio Playwood Games ApS. Walki odbywają się w czasie rzeczywistym a naszym polem bitwy są przepięknie zaprojektowane dioramy. Jaki ta gra ma klimat! Jaki potencjał. Mimo, że sam pomysł przeniesienia gry planszowej na ekran peceta to pomysł stary jak ja* (*nie no, nie przesadzajmy, są starsze rzeczy…drzewa, skały, niektóre budynki), to muszę przyznać, że od chwili kiedy usłyszałem o tym tytule – od razu wyobraziłem sobie epicką bitwę toczoną na dużej makiecie. Zresztą zobaczcie:
Wartile przypomina mi jeszcze jeden tytuł – mianowicie The Banner Saga. Obecnie jest jeszcze za wcześnie aby spekulować, czy twórcy pójdą w tym kierunku – sama gra nie opuściła jeszcze Kickstartera oraz bardzo wczesnej wersji pre-alpha KTÓRĄŻ TO możecie pobrać za darmo (o, tutaj na Steam).
Osobiście mam nadzieję, że twórcy nie poprzestaną na ładnej grafice i pójdą w stronę mocnej historii oraz prostej mechaniki. Nic nie popsułoby tej gry bardziej niż zbędnie przekombinowana i udziwniona walka. Walka w czasie rzeczywistym i talia kart, którymi możemy zagrywać w międzyczasie – wystarczają w zupełności.
